Airport Transfers Information
If you're organising your own holiday, then choosing how to travel from your holiday airport to Soldeu or El Tarter is an important decision. You have a variety of options including car rental, airport shuttle services, or private transfers. We will outline the options for you in this section.
Private Airport Transfers
Having your own taxi, minibus or coach waiting for you when your flight arrives is probably the most relaxing start to your holiday that you can choose. You don't have to wait around for other people on other flights, and you don't need to worry about driving in Europe or working out the route!

We work with Grup Montmantell to provide private transfers from Barcelona, Girona, Reus, Toulouse & Perpignan. You will have a driver waiting for you at the airport when your flight lands ready to take you directly to your hotel, plus it doesn't cost much more than an airport shuttle! Airport Shuttle Service
For airport shuttle transfers there are two main companies operating in Andorra. Offering a wider variety of services is Novatel, who serve several airports in addition to picking up and dropping off in Soldeu (you normally have to change buses in Andorra la Vella). Secondly there is Direct Bus who just operate to & from Barcelona and Andorra la Vella.

Soldeu-andorra.com can now arrange Novatel airport transfers for you! Just tell us the transfer you want booking on to and we'll take care of your booking. Novatel will pick up and drop off at any hotel in Soldeu or El Tarter which makes it convenient for you! For your return transfer you will be collected around 30-45 minutes either side of the time stated below depending on where you are flying from because these are departure times from Andorra la Vella. Your pick-up time will be confirmed on your voucher.

If you book Direct Bus then you would have to get a regular service bus over to Soldeu, or you could take a taxi. Please refer to their websites to get more information, as times and prices found here are provided as a guide.

Car Rental
If you're wanting flexibility whilst you're on holiday, and feel confident in driving in to the mountains then definately consider car rental from the airport. Before you go, make sure you go over the driving information, and you can plan your route using our route planner. The weather can change very quickly in the mountains so you should be well prepared with snow chains and snow tyres.
Every major airports has a selection of car hire companies available, however if you choose to book car rental it is definately important to ensure you advise the rental company that you will be travelling to Andorra as it is going across an international border plus it is outside of the EU. As you'll be travelling to the mountains, don't forget about finding out about snow tyres and snow chains, which you'll most probably be charged extra for! Last but definately not least, don't forget about making sure you're going to have plenty of space in your car for all your luggage as well as skis if you're bringing your own.
