Travel

If you're thinking of coming to either Soldeu or El Tarter on a holiday then you have two options. Firstly you can book a standard package with a tour operator which are usually Sunday to Sunday, although this isn't for everybody! The other option is to put your own holiday together which means it is totally flexible to meet your requirements. Just follow the steps below to build your own holiday!

There are five different parts making up your holiday ...

1

Flights

Andorra is roughly the same travelling time from several airports which means you've got a big selection of flights to choose from. Have a look at our flights page to use the Sky Scanner search tool. As well as the budget airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet it's also worth having a look at 'traditional' airlines such as BA and BMI as they will sometimes have great deals available! Although the most popular airports are Toulouse and Barcelona, other airports you could choose include Girona, Reus, or Carcasonne.

2

Transfers

You've got several options of how to get from the airport to Soldeu including renting a car, taking a shuttle transfer or booking a private transfer. Our transfers page has lots more information including timetables, prices and information about how to book shared and private airport transfers through Soldeu-andorra.com.

3

Accommodation

Possibly the most important choice you have is where to stay, and you have lots of different options to choose from! Firstly you should choose the type of accommodation that would suit your group, be it an apartment, chalet or hotel. Depending on what you have chosen you may then need to choose your board basis from self catering, room only, bed & breakfast or half board (with your evening meal). Some hotels also offer a full board option with a packed lunch to take with you on the slopes. Have a look at our guide to hotels and apartments in Soldeu, and also our prices & deals for this winter which you can book through us.

4

Ski Pack

Coming on a skiing or snowboarding holiday you're going to need some ski pack items which is made up of lift passes, school and rental equipment. By building your own holiday you get to choose whether you want private or group lessons, and also you can save loads of money on your ski hire or snowboard hire. Visit our online shop to get prices and book for your group.

5

Insurance

It is extremely important that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover your holiday, ensuring that it also has cover for winter sports. If you think you might go snowmobiling, paragliding or heli-skiing then also make sure you are covered for 'hazardous activities' as well.

Now you have an idea of what needs to be included in your holiday have a look at the different pages in our travel section. To get more information you can read and write reviews on our forum or if you have other questions about making a booking please send us a message from the contact form.
