After all the snow fallen since Saturday I couldn´t skip the opportunity of going up the mountain to enjoy the more than 1 meter of fresh and powder snow. This week skiing is a pleasure and a dream for all the snow lovers.
It wasn´t cold either sunny, but made the day perfect, no need of being extra wrapped up and if you left your buff at home was okay. The runs were easy and smooth with a perfect coverage.
It has been snowing since Saturday night and we already have 40cm of fresh snow at village level, plus MORE SNOW FORECAST OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
Up on the mountain the snow depth is between 170-200cm with fantastic coverage and soft runs filled with amazing fresh snow!
It is very cold with temperatures below freezing (-10 to -6) and high winds so if you´re up on the mountain wrap up well and maybe consider stopping every now and again for a warm cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate in one of the fantastic restaurants across Grandvalira.
Enjoy the snow.
It's snowing again and we're loving it! Conditions today are to die for as the fresh snow falling is making the runs smooth and easy. Grandvalira is 100% open today so you have 210km of slopes waiting for you!
Temperatures have dropped to below freezing again and the visibility is reduced so take your time and enjoy every metre of the slopes.
Make sure you´re wearing some nice warm thermals, a buff and a good hat, also goggles are highly recommended today.
Enjoy this powder day!
We also have snow reports and weather forecasts for other resorts in Andorra:

Here in Andorra the weather can change very quickly and forecasts often vary quite a lot. Being located in the mountains it can be difficult to predict the snowfall, specially a few days in advance. As a general rule we find that the weather forecasts are much more reliable as they get closer to the actual time! We have chosen a couple of forecasts which will load in below.
