Quite cold on the mountain today, with fresh snow overnight, around 10-12cm of fresh powder. Today I skied Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa but visibility was very poor, although the snow was superb.
Grau Roig especially was great, with lovely soft snow on the slopes and really quiet too. The sun tried to come out later in the morning but very light snow continued throughout the day.
Spring has arrive and here in Soldeu we have some sun spells and temperatures had risen up up to 3 degrees (in fact last yesterday I was skiing with a T-shirt and my jacket) Visibility on the slopes is very good and there is no wind at all.
Soldeu remains in very good conditions with a fantastic snow coverage due to the snow fallen the past few days, and more to come over the week.
Enjoy the last days of the season, and take loads of pictures!
Great condition, fantastic coverage and no wind at all, Temperatures had risen up (-6 to -3) so make the most of all the terraces, and restaurants, oh an very important for today! Make sure you bring you sunscreen so you don´t get burn :)
WHAT A DAY!! The weather can´t be beaten here today in Soldeu we have clear skies, sun shinning and 10 cm of fresh snow on top of 190cm base...and the highlight of the day.... it's St. Patrick's day!!
10 cm of fresh snow fallen last night!! And more snow forecast to come! So coverage is fantastic and runs are smooth therefore we have the perfect day and conditions to enjoy the day as the sun is shinning
Temperatures have dropped down to below freezing (-10 to -6) so make sure you´re wearing some nice warm thermals, a buff and a good hat, also goggles are highly recommended today.
We also have snow reports and weather forecasts for other resorts in Andorra:
Brand new for the 2013-14 season we've got feeds from four rotating webcams showing you a panoramic view. The videos update regularly.
Here in Andorra the weather can change very quickly and forecasts often vary quite a lot. Being located in the mountains it can be difficult to predict the snowfall, specially a few days in advance. As a general rule we find that the weather forecasts are much more reliable as they get closer to the actual time! We have chosen a couple of forecasts which will load in below.
