We have some amazingly warm sunny days and the next couple to follow are due to be the same.Saturday sees the start of days being wet and possibly snowy. So it looks like no sunshine ski day for closing day on Monday.
Some of the slopes now have some patches showing through but all are easy to spot and avoid. The Snow down the El Tarter village is minimal with only a very thin strip at the bottom of Esquirol to take you round back to the gondola, so take care on the lower slopes there.
We continue to be blessed with super spring ski days of bright blue sky and sunshine. The slopes are still quiet even though we are in the Easter week holidays now. Slopes still all good and the hours skiing to make the most of are 10-12! The bottom of Avet black run down to the village is now out of action with some big patches in it now but can still easily ski down to the village on Os and Bosc Fosc blue runs.
Sunny sky and firm slopes this morning. Looks like it's going to be a lovely day in place of yesterdays mixed grey angry sky. The slopes are super quiet and still in great condition for enjoying a full day up there. With great sunny days like this there's no better place to enjoy the weather than up on the slopes skiing and lunching.
Spring slopes are here so make sure you're up early to ski the best snow of the day. It's not difficult to get out of bed on days like these though, with the sun shinning early and bright through you window every day is a joy to wake up to. The best snow is from 10am to around 2pm. Which is the perfect time plan to enjoy breakfast before you head out and then enjoy a sunny slope side lunch after enjoying a good morning skiing.
We also have snow reports and weather forecasts for other resorts in Andorra:
Brand new for the 2013-14 season we've got feeds from four rotating webcams showing you a panoramic view. The videos update regularly.
Here in Andorra the weather can change very quickly and forecasts often vary quite a lot. Being located in the mountains it can be difficult to predict the snowfall, specially a few days in advance. As a general rule we find that the weather forecasts are much more reliable as they get closer to the actual time! We have chosen a couple of forecasts which will load in below.
